We look for healthy fundamentals and genuine earnings, not businesses propped up by one-off contracts or unsustainable pricing. Our focus is on businesses where operational improvement can create real, measurable margin growth.

Manufacturing and precision engineering. Maintenance, repair, and field services. Facilities management and building services. Industrial services, plant hire, and specialist trades. Blue-collar service businesses where skilled people do physical, hands-on work that can't be replaced by software. We prefer owners selling due to retirement, succession gaps, or a genuine desire to step back, not distressed situations.

With over 20 years of senior leadership across manufacturing, technology, professional services, and e-commerce, Clive has a track record of stepping into businesses and making them work better; improving processes, implementing systems, building teams, and creating the operational clarity that drives sustainable growth.


Clive also runs Clive Flood Advisory Services (CFAS), a fractional COO consultancy that helps founders and PE-backed portfolio companies scale through operating models, CRM/ERP implementation, automation, and pragmatic AI adoption. CFAS gives Clive a unique lens on the UK SME landscape, he sees the inside of businesses every day.
